As one of the biggest names in the iGaming industry, Games Global wowed attendees of ICE London with the scale of their presence - a takeover of the Sunborn Hotel Superyacht as well as an innovative stand shaped in their logo.
InspoHub were tasked with showcasing this impressive setup to the digital world, creating social-first video and photo content to post across the channels of Games Global and their partners. THREE video deliverables were produced each event day, as well as a live photo album.
Each content piece was created in a platform-specific format for maximum reach. Here is an example of our deliverables for day 1:
The client had an array of special entertainment throughout the event that we needed to capture, including studio gaming spaces, live streaming rooms and networking events. This meant constantly being adaptable as live situations changed. This helped ensure that videographers were always in the right place at the right time and that editors could stay on top of the waves of content coming through.
Spaces were designed for in-person viewing first and foremost. This meant the team needed to get creative in order to capture content in areas like the streamer rooms where we weren’t able to be intrusive. A combination of small camera rigs and meticulous shot planning helped us stay on top of capturing the content we needed whilst not impacting the in-room event experience.
We had a tight-knit crew of 4 who knew exactly what their responsibilities were, meaning everyone could work autonomously throughout the project. As a smaller team we integrated with the client nicely, causing minimal impact to the day to day running of the event.
The entire project was delivered by a single on-site producer, camera operator, photographer and editor, saving the client valuable budget on crew. As with all events, unavoidable changes from the client’s side meant that we needed to adapt on the go. We purposely maintained close contact with the client throughout the event with that in mind, meaning that when schedules and deliverables needed to be tweaked, we were across it immediately.
Across 4 days on location, InspoHub created a high number of videos, each of which surpassed the expectations of the client. With the client being a big name at the event, independent visitors saw the output and fed back to us personally on how impressive the thought the content was. Knowing that not only the client was thrilled with the content but that their audiences were too, that truly solidified the great work we did over the course of this project.
