Connect.Live x Goodwood Festival of Speed

Why we do what we do

InspoHub captured event content from each of our client's stands at Goodwood to be as case studies across their website and socials.

The Project

In the summer of 2022, Connect.Live engaged InspoHub to capture behind the scenes content of their stand builds for Lotus Cars and Bentley at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Large scale set builds were designed and delivered by Connect.Live for both car manufacturers at the event. Each stand was built to showcase cars, host panel talks and engage with festival goers across the course of the weekend.

The Brief

In order to showcase the vast production value of each stand and share a flavour of both Lotus and Bentley at the event, InspoHub was asked to capture several short-form BTS features to be shared across the client’s platforms.

As InspoHub have worked with Connect.Live, Lotus and Bentley on previous projects, it was a production that the team could integrate into fluidly and deliver high-end content fast.

Connect.Live requested that we captured footage of attendees interacting with elements of each build. This included getting up close and personal with the cars, purchasing merchandise from the brand shop and engaging with the touch screens dotted around the stands. 

With such a high production value on each build, InspoHub was tasked with highlighting elements of the stand itself. This included immersive experiences, light shows, projections and large-scale LED screens.

In addition to this, Connect.Live also requested that we shoot interviews with brand representatives who could provide additional context to the production and build timelines.

The solution

InspoHub operated with a 2-person onsite team, including a camera operator and producer. Streamlining the crew on shoot day made for a more agile approach to content capture and made the video project as a whole more cost-effective.

Using entirely in-house equipment, InspoHub shot content to suit both portrait and landscape edits, allowing for versatility in distribution across digital platforms.

An extensive pre-production process ensured that InspoHub were aligned with the client’s goals and everything was signed off before the shoot days. From there, regular touch points with the client, both onsite and during post production, meant that the client was always in the know and happy with the direction the project was taking.

The onsite crew got up close and personal with the vehicles, stands and attendees to piece together a story of how each manufacturers exhibition came together.

The Outcome

The client was very happy with the content produced, using the videos across their website and social platforms. You watch an example of what InspoHub captured on the day here!
